9 different classes all with different abilities, its own skin and individual skills and abilities along with health and movement defences. From its large community, like with CSS game servers, Team Fortress 2 has a huge array of custom maps and mods. So Team Fortress 2 game servers have been out for 2 years and the game is still as popular as it was when it came out
Team Fortress 2 servers have 9 classes that are split into 3 sub classes based on support, defensive and offensive. You don’t necessarily have to play these roles, however they have been set to exploit the best skills in these positions.
Defence will be the difference between you winning on Team Fortress 2 servers or losing it. It is vital that you have people at your back line to stop that sneaky scout from getting through.
You have to be skilled at this class to know to play it without a proper gun or using the bottle to melee. The Demoman can take out enemies using a variety of clever tricks using the games physics engine. The grenade launcher itself is a very powerful weapon and can take out classes with small health pools in just one or two grenades (scouts, medics and spies). You can also use the grenade launcher to effectively take out sentry guns from behind corners. The sticky grenades work like proximity mines and so are great for laying as traps near intelligence or control points and tight choke points. Just lay a few where they won’t be easily seen and watch the kills roll in. Try this class if you are awful at aiming, but like explosions!
The Heavy is our next class. This chap really has some meat behind his punch. Although he’s the heaviest and slowest of the classes, his health and most powerful gun makes up. He can take down most things in a matter of seconds. The only enemy he struggles against is his opposite number. He can take on large number of enemies at once and has a great range and wide range However his mini gun does take a while to rev up. Once he hits you, don’t expect to move in a hurry! Heavies work best with someone else covering their back while they fire. If you want to make an impression on game servers, pick this guy!
The engineer would normally only fire when being attacked directly. He should maintain and deploy buildings for his team. They are best known for their sentry guns which are automated turrets which can be upgraded by whacking them with the wrench. However, you need to gather metal either from downed players, ammo crates and also their own dispensers. Strategically placed dispensers also resupply players. Teleprinters allow classes to instantly move from one section of the map to another. This may be from the spawn to an obscure place outside the enemies base. Unfortunately they aren’t so hard when it comes to one on one. However they can be effective at medium range with their turrets and tend to sit in cover. Want a turret to get your kills while you sit back and relax? Then the Engineer is the class for you.
